Historian Paul Dorpat's "Now & Then" column has delighted readers for decades by documenting the city's dramatic transformation. Fans of his Seattle Times column marvel at the past life of familiar locations. Through the years, Dorpat amassed thousands of photos, maps, books, and documents to help shape his stories. Now in his 80's, he has donated that collection to the Seattle Public Library to benefit future generations. But there's still work to do. Paul Dorpat wants your help to explore, organize, and display his massive collection. Feliks Banel explains.
