He will always be remembered as the man who guided the SuperSonics to an NBA (National Basketball Association) crown in 1979, making Seattle a championship town in the modern era. The Hall of Fame coach reflects on the electrifying accomplishment that galvanized the city. But the win did much more than satisfy sports fans.
