Reforming the state's mental health system is a top priority for Washington state lawmakers this session. Washington ranks 28^th in the country for access to mental health professionals, and the troubled Western State Hospital recently lost federal certification and funding. There is strong bipartisan support for addressing the growing crisis; and many innovative proposals are on the table, but will lawmakers agree on how to pay for them?
