Nancy Pearl sits down with former Tacoma News Tribune sports columnist and novelist Dave Boling (author of historical fiction books "Guernica" and "The Undesirables") to discuss his latest novel "The Lost History of Stars." Boling shares his journey from out-of-work logger to sports writer to successful author. Boling was inspired to write his new book after contemplating and researching the history of his grandfather during the Boer war. "It is not a feel-good read; it is a feel-deeply read," Boling says.
