Host Nancy Guppy grew up in Seattle and, with the exception of a three-year stint in Los Angeles, has lived in the city her entire life. Before creating arts programming for the Seattle Channel, Nancy spent 10 years as a writer/performer/producer on KING TV's late night comedy show, Almost Live!. Nancy enjoys morning coffee, daily walks, dinner with friends, hang time with husband Joe, and hitting the local art scene as much as she possibly can.

Dancer David Harvey leaps into the hearts of audiences around the world with his exquisite contemporary dance.  Master storyteller and performer Mike Daisey introduces his latest show, "A People's History," an 18-part monologue series that delves into the overlooked details of American history. Artist John Grade opens his studio, offering a look into his large-scale wood sculptural projects. Twenty-year-old singer/songwriter Parisalexa has the Georgetown Stables bumping to her original tracks "Ballin'" and "Hothead." And Ellen Abram,producing director of The Williams Project, curates the AZ calendar. Ballard High School's digital filmmaking students win three National Student Production Awards.
