Host Nancy Guppy grew up in Seattle and, with the exception of a three-year stint in Los Angeles, has lived in the city her entire life. Before creating arts programming for the Seattle Channel, Nancy spent 10 years as a writer/performer/producer on KING TV's late night comedy show, Almost Live!. Nancy enjoys morning coffee, daily walks, dinner with friends, hang time with husband Joe, and hitting the local art scene as much as she possibly can.

Art Zone kicks off its new season with a bang ... or should we say a distorted power chord! Mike Soldano, the man behind the legendary Soldano Custom Amps, sounds off. Funny lady Lauren Weedman dishes about her TV gigs, everything from sex scenes to being fired from The Daily Show. "Richard III" takes center stage at Seattle Shakes. Eric Elbogen of Say Hi performs songs from his new album "Caterpillar Centipede." Solo artist Christine Longé curates our vibrant first calendar of the season. And Hugo House is reborn on Capitol Hill.
