Host Nancy Guppy grew up in Seattle and, with the exception of a three-year stint in Los Angeles, has lived in the city her entire life. Before creating arts programming for the Seattle Channel, Nancy spent 10 years as a writer/performer/producer on KING TV's late night comedy show, Almost Live!. Nancy enjoys morning coffee, daily walks, dinner with friends, hang time with husband Joe, and hitting the local art scene as much as she possibly can.

Get ready to Freakout! Nancy sits down with Freakout! festival director Skyler Locatelli to get the inside scoop on the lineup for this year's music fest, Nov. 17 and 18 at various Ballard venues. Four featured bands bring their unique sounds to the AZ house, The Georgetown Stables. Smokey Brights perform an acoustic version of "Blame it on Me."  Cosmos, the winner of the 2016 MoPop Sound Off! Competition, jam out with "Mixed Signals."  FKL, an electronic trio, groove to "Violence." And theatrical psychedelic beach band Baywitch perform "Widows."
