Seattle's vibrant restaurant scene is known for its innovation and diverse offerings. One local chef has burst onto the food scene with unique dishes that provide inspired takes on classic Indigenous recipes! Jamaican Curry Navajo Tacos and Smoked Salmon Mac and Cheese are just a few examples. Jeremy Thunderbird of Native Soul Cuisine is the chef responsible for these creations. His pop-ups are extremely popular, and someday, he hopes to open a brick & mortar establishment. As producer Aileen Imperial explains, Thunderbird has a desire to share his culinary inspirations and Native culture through food!
