All around Seattle, businesses are being boarded up. Some because they've closed, but others fear racially-motivated vandalism. After the Jade Garden restaurant in Seattle's International District had its windows smashed, Keoke Silvano, a local photographer, worried that the boarded-up windows would only attract more trouble. Silvano reached out to the arts community for help and artists from the Latino community stepped up, donating their time and talents to help beautify an otherwise ugly situation. As producer Randy Eng shows, the result is both inspiring and uniting for all of our city's communities.
