As more of the population reaches age 60 or older, some may be planning a move to a retirement community or assisted living. But with the rising cost of housing, many are opting to stay put. It's called "aging in place." And although they'll be able to stay in their own home, it's likely they'll need to make modifications to increase accessibility. As Brian Callanan reports, in most cases some simple adjustments and alterations using universal design principles can lead to big benefits.
