Scholar Charles Everett Pace portrays W.E.B. DuBois in this lecture sponsored by the Seattle Public Library. Du Bois, born in Massachusetts in 1877, was one of the most influential black leaders of the first half of hte 20th century. He was the first African American to receive a doctorate from Harvard and a co-founder of the NAACP.
