Councilmember Jan Drago explains Bridging the Gap, a nine-year, $365 million transportation levy that citizens past in 2006. This money will resurface, restore or replace around 300 lane-miles of arterial streets, repair the city's aging draw bridges, add needed sidewalks, and place crosswalks where needed.
