On February 9, 2010, Seattle voters will decide whether to approve $712.7 million in school levies. Proposition 1 is a capital levy for $270 million, and Proposition 2 is an operations levy for $442.7 million. The 2 levies are not technically new; they continue previous funding provided by Seattle property owners, though the capital levy is bigger this time. The Video Voters` Guide is a collaboration with the City of Seattle and King County to give viewers an in-depth personal look at candidates and ballot issues.
