Since 1990, the city of Seattle has provided a Friday and Saturday late-night alternative to the streets. Young people can gather at nine local community centers and be a part activities like computer class, athletics including basketball, volleyball, and martial arts, even tutoring. The Late Night Program targets youth most prone to harmful behavior and shows them the possibility of having a positive future. |
