Mayor Ed Murray announces $47 million investment in affordable housing in Seattle at an event at the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station. The funding will go to projects that preserve or create more affordable housing units across Seattle. These are the final investments from the 2009 Seattle Housing Levy. Steve Walker, Director of the Seattle Office of Housing, Christopher Persons, CEO of Capitol Hill Housing, and Vilma Figueroa, a resident of the Aurora House join the mayor at this event.
