City Inside/Out: The latest on police reform
City Inside/Out: Police Reform
3/11/201629:13

The latest efforts at police reform started four years ago, when the Department of Justice found that Seattle police officers were using force unconstitutionally. Why is there a battle brewing about civilian oversight of the SPD? Can the SPD ensure its officers aren't using excessive force while still allowing them to do their jobs? Is it possible to expect fundamental and lasting change in the culture of our police department?
