West Seattle Bridge Off Ramps to be Closed for Six Hours
Minor traffic impacts expected during drainage maintenance

SEATTLE - Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) will clean storm drains on the West Seattle Bridge in the early morning on Saturday, Oct. 16 to prevent street flooding. The bridge will remain open during the work; however, the following exits on the bridge will be closed from midnight to 6 a.m. to allow crews safe access to clean the storm drains:

Westbound
State Route 99 Onramp
Admiral Way Exit
Delridge Way Southwest Exit
Harbor Avenue Exit

Eastbound
State Route 99 Exit
1st Avenue Exit

Although the bridge will remain open throughout the maintenance work, there may be some minor impacts to traffic.

In addition to providing drainage services in Seattle, SPU provides more than 1.3 million people in the metropolitan area with a reliable water supply and provides customers in Seattle with essential solid waste and sewer services that protect public health while balancing social and environmental responsibilities in a cost-effective way.
