The centennial of the Lake Washington Ship Canal in 2017 is a good time to look back on the history of the five drawbridges that were built to span it. These old bridges are still going strong and are colorful parts of Seattle's character as a city.

This video is part of a series of short documentaries produced by Vaun Raymond for the centennial of the Hiram M. Chittenden (Ballard) Locks and Lake Washington Ship Canal.
