The UW Autism Center is renowned for its research and training. Recently, it shared its findings during a visit to some of China's prestigious universities. One study presented there will benefit families here. All agree, international borders are irrelevant when autism understanding increases anywhere in the world. Also, it's a push to preserve the region's history and to protect lives. Brick buildings are desired for their beauty and charm. But they're also vulnerable in earthquakes. Now, the city is urging property owners to upgrade. Plus, one company takes recycling up a notch - transforming plastic waste into wearables. Host Nicole Sanchez has these stories from the Ballard Avenue Landmark District.
