For Liya Rubio, this country has given so much. It's allowed her a life she was not destined to live. But Ethiopia will always live in her heart. Orphaned at the age of seven her life could have been dramatically different. Adoption brought her to America. She worked hard, persevered and is now a bright light to immigrants from her homeland. She's an inspiration to the young, invaluable to elders and serves with great purpose at a neighborhood center in Seattle's growing Ethiopian American community. Nils Cowan has her story.
