Take a look at how people connect in jobs and heal
CityStream: Health and Hope
6/23/201620:15

This episode of CityStream takes a look at how people are connecting through jobs and healing. We learn about Jobs Connect, a program that helps homeless individuals find a pathway to employment and stability through work. Then, we'll see how local scientists and volunteers are studying and supporting people with traumatic brain injuries. The Brain Injury Alliance of Washington and the Allen Institute for Brain Science are doing their part to further how we look at and treat brain injuries, which happen once every 23 seconds in our country. And, we look back at the first year of the Seattle/King County Medical Clinic, the largest free clinic the city has ever seen. Now on its third year and in the planning stages for October 2016, the clinic is seeking volunteers.
