Seattle Speaks about privacy
Seattle Speaks: Privacy Politics
4/22/20151:13:54

Privacy. It's an increasingly important topic in our digital world. But does releasing certain government-held data harm or help the public? While surveillance and information technologies have developed rapidly, privacy laws have not kept pace. City of Seattle leaders are pursuing a new privacy initiative that could impact everything from 911 calls to utility bills to recordings from police-worn body cameras. Host Brian Callanan moderates a live, televised community forum at Town Hall with privacy advocates, government, public-safety and technology leaders. Seattle Speaks is presented in partnership with Seattle CityClub and Town Hall.
