Following a conservation effort, the historic Soul Pole is returned to the Douglass-Truth Branch of The Seattle Public Library. Community members gather to celebrate the sculpture's return, honor its history and importance to the community, and discuss the conservation process.

Debra Gulley-Collins, daughter of Wilson Gulley, Sr., executive director of the Rotary Boys Club from 1968-1971 and visionary for Rotary Boys Club programs
