Danny Woo Community Garden to host its annual pig roast

The Danny Woo Community Garden in the Chinatown-International District neighborhood was started over 40 years ago as a spot to engage the neighborhood's residents and pioneers in the wake of oncoming civic projects such as the building of Interstate 5 and the Kingdome.  Managed by the InterIm Community Development Association, the garden also hosts an annual Pig Roast.  Brian Callanan talks with Uncle Bob Santos, former executive director of InterIm CDA, about the origins of the garden and Pig Roast, which will happen July 15 & 16, 2016.
