CityStream heads to Seattle’s oldest neighborhood, Pioneer Square. The team tours the new Populus Hotel, a carbon-negative historic renovation infused with the scent of fresh-cut Douglas fir. Next, the show explores Intentionalist, an online guide that helps people discover and support diverse small and local businesses. Then, the CityStream team meets the Seattle Firefighters Pipes and Drums, a band born from tragedy whose music continues to help a grieving community heal. Finally, the show revisits the Seattle Seahawks’ Super Bowl celebration. Host Nicole Sanchez brings it all to you from Pioneer Square.
