Scott Erickson is an experiential artist, who believes in bringing the creative process to public places, like to the set of Art Zone In Studio, where he sets up his easel and paints a picture of Nancy! Upcoming Event: The Round, musicians, poets, and painters share the stage on June 10th at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center.

Attention cheese heads! The 4th annual Seattle Cheese Festival, featuring cooking demo's, a wine garden, fun activities for kids, and 250 hand crafted and farmstead cheeses from local and international producers, hits the Pike Place Market May 16th thru the 18th.

Don't miss the first ever art-open-house, from urban visionary artist Laura Castellenos (Kos-tee-on-oh), happening Sunday, May 18th, from 2 to 4.

Cheap Wine and Poetry, Seattle's super cool reading series, celebrates it's three-year anniversary with an outstanding lineup of poets, playwrights, and performers, on Thursday, May 29th at 7:00 pm @ Richard Hugo House

Mark your calendar for artist Anna McKee's marvelous new exhibit, entitled "Land Remants: New Prints of Terrain." Anna's show runs May 16th thru June 22nd at Francine Seder Gallery in Greenwood.

And finally, the Bellevue Arts Museum presents "Dare alla Luce," a sensual room-size installation of crocheted, beaded, and stitched fairytales, from emerging Northwest artist, Mandy Greer. Now through August 3rd.
