Paul Marioni has influenced every medium of glass art. His determination to uncouple the lead line from imagery in windows and later to bring meaningful imagery into blown glass has liberated overlooked possibilities in both media. Marioni 's blown and painted works include visual puns, his signature inventions and unique kinetic forms. His themes encompass pre-conscious knowledge, the penetration for the momentary by the eternal as well as the potential for dreams and ecstatic states to bring unconscious material to awareness.
