Host Nancy Guppy grew up in Seattle and, with the exception of a three-year stint in Los Angeles, has lived in the city her entire life. Before creating arts programming for the Seattle Channel, Nancy spent 10 years as a writer/performer/producer on KING TV's late night comedy show, Almost Live!. Nancy enjoys morning coffee, daily walks, dinner with friends, hang time with husband Joe, and hitting the local art scene as much as she possibly can.

Art Zone heads to 12th Ave Arts, the sleek new Capitol Hill theater complex containing affordable housing and retail space. Spectrum's Donald Byrd joins Nancy Guppy for a chat about remaking classic dances for "Carousel" restaged by 5th Avenue Theatre. Photographer Glenn Rudolph reflects on his explorations of the changing landscapes and people of the Northwest through the lens of his large-format camera.  DJ Stevie Zoom offers a glimpse into radio station KEXP's hip new home, which recently broke ground at Seattle Center. Then duck into nearby Neumos for a performance by indie rockers The Hollers.
