Town Square
Civic discussions about townAbout Town Square
Town Square is a Seattle Channel series dedicated to connecting people and ideas. With lectures, debates, and forums recorded around the city at places such as Town Hall, the Seattle Public Library, and the Central District Forum of Arts and Ideas, Town Square brings interesting and provocative conversations to cable TV and the web.
Policies that need to be implemented to reduce greenhouse gas emissions will also bring about substantial reductions in air pollution and cardiovascular disease. These policies will also change urban mobility and our built environment. Including health benefits in the discussion creates a different paradigm-one that represents a win-win for most people, and for the planet. A panel of environmental health experts discusses the health co-benefits of climate change policies.
