ABOUT THE SERIES

You may think you know Seattle history, but you haven't heard the best stories until you've spent time with author J. Kingston Pierce and Eccentric Seattle. Based on his book of the same name, Eccentric Seattle exposes the lesser-known (though no less compelling) people, places and stories of the city's past. Dive into Seattle's lesser known history with Eccentric Seattle with J. Kingston Pierce.

Eccentric Seattle Host -- J. Kingston Pierce
J. Kingston Pierce Eccentric Seattle is hosted by J. Kingston Pierce, author of the book of the same name. He celebrates the Emerald City as not only the town where the Happy Face was born, but also where burghers once plotted to import ‘pure young ladies’ from the East to marry local loggers. Whether about famous or ordinary citizens, Pierce’s selection of colorful and off-beat anecdotes provides the basis for a fascinating cable series.
