Connecting treatment to cancer patients around the world
CityStream: The Max Foundation
10/19/20175:29

In the past, a patient diagnosed with leukemia in a poor country had few options. Bone marrow transplants were inaccessible. Expensive treatments were unattainable. Headquartered in a modest Wallingford office, the foundation has saved countless lives around the world by convincing drug companies to donate costly cancer medication. Penny LeGate speaks to three survivors from African nations who owe their lives to the Max Foundation.
