August and September happen to be a critical time of year on South Puget Sound beaches -- that`s when harbor seal pups show up in big numbers. Unfortunately, the odds of survival in their first year of life are low -- thankfully, though, a dedicated group is working hard to protect these adorable babies during this extremely vulnerable time.
