It's an award whose recipients include George Washington, Martin Luther King Jr., and Mother Teresa. Add Seattle's Nisei veterans to the list of those honored with the Congressional Gold Medal - the nation's highest civilian award. Many Nisei vets served with great distinction and courage during World War II. Their regiment became the most highly decorated unit of its size in U.S. military history. Producer Shannon Gee takes us on their journey as they reflect on and celebrate the honor.
