The Seattle Public Schools knows that good nutrition leads to brighter brains and better learning. It also knows that chicken nuggets and pizza don't appeal to everyone, so the district has been working to create culturally diverse lunch options. Then the pandemic hit. The district shifted gears and formed a partnership to feed students, and in some cases, entire families. From Fare Start to FedEx, 30,000 meals were made and delivered each day. Now that more students are returning to the classroom, the district will re-focus efforts to create meals that satisfy many cultures. Producer Ian Devier has more.
