Imagine opening your blinds each morning and the first thing you see is concrete, lots of concrete. For Ed McNaughton, that's been his view the past 11 years. His neighbor is the Alaskan Way Viaduct. It sits just 30 feet from his apartment. Ed has gotten used to the noise, and the dust, and the vibrations from heavy trucks. He says it's not that bad. Still, he envisions a day when that noisy neighbor leaves town and gives him a whole new outlook on life.
