Seattle voters will decide this fall whether a new $60 car-tab fee and 0.1% sales-tax hike are the best way to preserve King County Metro Transit bus routes in the city. In April, King County voters rejected a similar measure. Should Seattle now go it alone? Will bus service improve? We hear from Rich Stolz of One America about the importance of preserving bus service, while Bob Pishue of the Washington Policy Center questions the need for a second vote. In studio, Transportation Benefit District Proposition 1 Co-chair Rob Johnson advocates for the measure while opponent Suzie Burke argues it is bad for consumers and business.
