Will you benefit from an increase in Seattle's minimum wage?

On April 1, Seattle will become the first major U.S. city to begin raising its minimum wage to $15 an hour. Are local businesses prepared? How will this pay boost impact the economy? And can a federal lawsuit block portions of Seattle's $15 minimum-wage law, which treats local franchises as large businesses? Also, how will a proposal to increase the state minimum wage to $12 an hour affect workers and business owners?
