Seattle is a vibrant and complex city, and the SEATTLE CHANNEL's City Inside/Out brings you thoughtful, in-depth reports and discussions about important local issues every week. Hear from the people, the pundits and the politicians who are making news and making decisions in the city. Currently in its ninth season, the show is the recipient of 2 Northwest Emmy Awards (2009) and multiple NATOA Government Programming Awards, including Best News Series (2008, 2009, 2011), Best Elections Coverage (2008, 2011) and Best Interview/Talk Show (2009, 2011).

CITY INSIDE/OUT TEAM

Brian Callanan is a 16-year veteran of broadcast journalism—all in the Pacific Northwest. For the past eleven years, Callanan has been a reporter and anchor for Q13 FOX News, owned by the (Chicago) Tribune Company. Over his career, Callanan has won an Emmy and has earned several other awards from the Society for Professional Journalists and the National Press Photographer’s Association.

Susan Han is the show's lead producer, with 2 decades of public affairs producing experience. Before joining the Seattle Channel, she worked at KCTS-TV (1992-2007) and KING-TV (1990-1992). She has produced numerous live productions, international documentaries and weekly series, including KCTS Connects, Serious Money and Ask the Governor.

Matt Peterson is the show's lead videographer and editor, bringing his news shooting experience from across the country, and most recently at Q13 FOX News, to the Seattle Channel.
