Nancy Pearl, author of the best-selling "Book Lust" series, creator of the internationally recognized program "If All of Seattle Read the Same Book" (which became "Seattle Reads"), and model for the world-famous Archee McPhee "Librarian Action Figure," is host of Book Lust with Nancy Pearl on the Seattle Channel.
After her novel was rejected by a number of traditional publishers, Seattle author Betsy Hanson decided to go the independent route and self-publish her first novel "Always Gardenia." Hanson recounts her path to becoming a successful self-published author, discusses writing craft and shares her love for the midcentury English novelist Barbara Pym with host Nancy Pearl.
